1/1/2019 0 Comments Zen Reuse a container, this was a disposable container from a take out restaurant, but any container will do. Reusing also reduces waste. You may use any household goods you desire for the sand as I have. Standard table salt for white sand coffee grounds for brown sand. The coffee smells particularly nice. Rocks are easy enough to collect you needn't invest more in this project than you wish to. Collecting your own has the bonus of getting you outdoors and moving. Take a walk in the woods or along the beach. Use moments from trips or memorable times collecting a few each time to add more meaning to your tray. This table top zen garden is a good project to reduce stress as well as one that would be easy to create with your children. There are a million variations you can make the limitations of your zen garden go only as far as your imagination.

AuthorBuilding this is building mastery. It is learning a new skill. It is making time for myself to achieve a goal. A plan enacted imperfectly now is better than a plan enacted perfectly never.
